What a great first week! We loved seeing all the smiling faces return to the pool and this week is already looking warmer! This coming week we will have afternoon practices with Rookies and Main Team, M-F.

I made a mistake and sent out our old text platform. We switched to the GroupMe app for our alert communications last year (NOT Remind) and it worked really well. This is useful for last minute communication if bad weather or sudden cancellations occur. Especially if you don't check your email often, you'll get a notification. LOST AND FOUND If your child is missing something (t-shirts, goggles, socks, shoes, etc), check the laundry basket usually located at the bottom of the stairs. We are already starting to get a collection.

Looking ahead, Time Trials and picture day is Tuesday, May 19th at 6pm. The first morning practice is Thursday, May 21st. Rookies do not compete in Time Trials but are encouraged to join us for the pictures! (Team picture is at 5pm, individual pictures start at 4) More to come regarding picture day.

TIME TRIALS- Main Team ONLY

Time Trials are run like a meet, but there will be no opposing team. Your child may compete in individual and/or relay events. This is a good opportunity for new families to get a feel for a real swim meet. This is the ONLY meet where coaches are able to be in the water to help a swimmer down the lane. If your child is 'on the fence' on their ability to compete, this is a good opportunity to test the waters. (pun intended) In order for your child to be placed in an event we NEED you to select if your child will be attending. This MUST be completed by Sunday, May 17th.

Go to SIGNUP CALENDAR under PRACTICES and MEETS and select the green MEET ENTRY button for Time Trials May 19. Select if your child is attending the meet or not. Click SAVE. This must be done for each child in the family. This can also be done from the free Swimtopia app.

CONCESSION DONATIONS In order to prepare for the upcoming concessions at home meets, we are taking donations. This is optional but greatly appreciated. Donations can be brought with you to practice this week. Monetary donations can be cash or check.

**You can sign up for donations through our Swimtopia webpage. From the SIGNUP CALENDAR find CONCESSION DONATIONS. Select JOB SIGNUP. Select SIGN UP FOR JOBS under 1 parent (you do not need to do both). Select your donation item(s). Click SAVE ASSIGNMENTS. This can also be done from the Swimtopia app.
