Hello Swim Families,

We will start Wednesday, May 6th, with the afternoon schedule (see below for times by age group). Rookies will also start on Wednesday at your scheduled time. I will send an updated schedule tonight.

**If I spoke to you about coming to a different age group time, you are all set!

I know the weather this week is less than ideal for the start of the season. We will practice as long as it's safe (above 70 degrees and no lightning). You know your child best and you get to decide if that day's practice is right for them; too cold, too drizzly, etc. If we need to cancel practice, it will usually be last minute. I communicate via email, Facebook and Remind (see below for sign up info).

Practice: We practice 4 to 5 days each week (see attached schedule). I send the upcoming week's schedule Sunday evening. We practice even in the rain. If there is thunder, we exit the water and determine if practice can continue. You may run errands while your child is at practice as long as we can get a hold of you and you are back by the end time. But please do not leave unattended siblings at the pool. Children must be monitored while on the playground. No children are allowed on the tennis courts.

**If you need to miss a practice, that's ok. The end of the school year is crazy and we get that!

Gear: Bring goggles, if your child will wear them. Pack an extra towel or sweatshirt. The water is a bit chilly early in the season and they'll want something dry and warm after they get out of the pool. Don't forget sunscreen!

Parking: You may park in the clubhouse parking lot in designated spots only. Please do not pull in if you know the lot is full as it creates a big bottle neck. You may ONLY park on the sidewalk side of the street. Do not block any driveways. Do not block fire hydrants. Do not park directly across from a resident's driveway. And please do not stop in the middle of the road to let your child run in or out. Following these rules will help keep the residents happy and me out of trouble! :)

Merchandise: If you ordered swim caps, tattoos or magnets through registration I will pass those out this week.. T Shirts and other apparel will likely be ready by the following week. I have extra swim caps available for purchase with cash or check only. Blue latex $6, Red silicon $10

WiFi: We have Wifi in the clubhouse. The signal gets weaker the further you are away from the clubhouse but seems to work ok at the other side of the pool. Connect to "Heritage Oaks" with password Heritage2024.

Lastly, I ask that you have grace these 1st few weeks of practice while we are still in school. Our coaches are also students and are balancing AP tests, end of year concerts, banquets, finals and graduations. Some coaches will be absent on various days as they prioritize their school load. Congratulations to Coach Sofia, Coach Mia and Coach Allie on their high school graduations!

• 4:45 pm - 5:30 pm - 7/8 & 15/18
• 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm - 11/12 & 13/14
