Hello H.O.T. Families!

This is Susan Wentker and I am returning as the volunteer coordinator this season of the Heritage Oaks Swim Team. My job is to make sure that all families donate their time during the swim meets to ensure that our meets run smoothly and efficiently. All families are required to work a total of four points (previously called shifts) during the swim season and each shift should last about two hours. Some of the jobs have been modified; some of the jobs have different expectations, so please review these descriptions and sign up for a job that will work for you and your family's schedule. Like last year, the team is using Swimtopia for all meet sign ups. Volunteering will also be done through Swimtopia. You can download the free app and manage your swimmers and volunteering from there. Or you can use the website. The website is found at https://heritageoakstorpedoes.swimtopia.com/ VOLUNTEER JOBS ARE NOW OPEN You may sign up for volunteer jobs at any/all of the meets. I will send out a reminder email to all scheduled volunteers at the beginning of the week for that week's meet. But PLEASE, if your schedule has changed and you no longer can volunteer, remove yourself online as soon as possible. That way another parent has the opportunity to snag it and can plan accordingly. We had MANY last minute jobs to fill last year. We truly appreciate ALL our volunteers as it is a vital component to the success of our summer swim program!
